PESA’s LNS-8 (Live News Switcher) is developed to meet the monitoring and routing needs of ENG/GNG operators. Built in a rugged chassis, this compact 8x2 VAA switcher, is half the size of two separate single bus
products. This no-compromise design allows operators to see the status of Program and Preview outputs at all times, while saving valuable rack space.
The LNS-8 supports AFV or triple breakaway (V, A1, A2) switching modes. Program or Preview source selections can be secured with a lock function. It is even possible to individually disable any source form either of the two output buses, preventing feedback loops. This source inhibiting capability is rarely available in small switchers.
In most cases, LNS-8 will be used with a built-in front control panel. One or two remote control panels can be used up to 150’ from the switcher. The LNS-8 includes a RS232/RS422 control port for automation, or use in unmanned switching stations.
The LNS-8 features looping inputs and two video outputs per bus. Audio connection is made on a detachable connector for easy installation.
LNS-8 is specially designed for the mobile broadcaster, commercial insertion, off-line bays and other applications where high performance and reliability is required.
