PESA’s new HDcctv routing switcher addresses the issue of transmitting large numbers of high definition video signals over a traditional coaxial infrastructure. PESA’s HDcctv 32X16 is the world’s first fully compliant HDcctv Routing Switcher system for transmission of high definition video signals. The HDcctv 32X16 is a critical link in getting HDcctv images to the viewing and storage devices. This system provides the ability to integrate digital technology over a traditional RG-6 coaxial infrastructure. With a comprehensive line of cameras, displays and digital recorders available to produce true uncompressed HD signals at pixel resolutions up to 1920X1080; an HDcctv compliant routing switcher insures the ability to share multiple sources without degrading image quality or worrying about signal latency. PESA’s HDcctv 32X16 provides input and output ports supporting bandwidth up to 1.5Gbps. With its compact size occupying only 1RU of rack space, the HDcctv 32X16 is big on performance – supporting the full line of HDcctv data rates for 720p and 1080p. All inputs are auto-equalized and all outputs are re-clocked to the appropriate transport stream up to 100m (300ft) over RG-6 coaxial cable. Two independent reference inputs allow easy selection of gen-lock from a black burst or tri-level sync source. The compact frame design features front load / hot swappable card sets and includes space for an optional redundant power supply and controller module. The HDcctv 32X16 includes a control port to support PESA’s full line of controller systems. For applications requiring custom control applications, users can easily translate the PESA protocol to any third party control system via RS-232.
