PESA takes 3G-SDI routing to new levels by offering integrated solutions for Fiber, CWDM, mux/de-mux, downconversion and SNMP networking capabilities. Our flagship product, the Cheetah series, has more than 15 frame types offering a virtually unlimited number of signal formats and I/O size combinations. Sizes range from 64X64 in 4RU up to 1024X1024 in only two system racks – no outboard DA’s or combiners required.
JAGUAR: MID-SIZED ROUTING SWITCHERS FOR ASI. SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI
PESA’s Jaguar-3 64X64 matrix switcher routes SMPTE and ITU standard serial digital video signals; plus it supports embedded audio and other ancillary data required for HD-SDI and DVI/ASI broadcast sources. For digital cinema high definition video distribution requirements, the Jaguar-3 can be configured to switch SMPTE 372M dual-link HD-SDI in configurations up to 32X32. Jaguar-3 is perfect for SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI switching applications in digital cinema, telemedicine, O&P, high end presentation rooms, satellite imaging, military command centers, and simulation/visualization environments.
COUGAR: COMPACT ROUTING SWITCHERS FOR ASI, SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI
PESA’s Cougar-3 32X32 matrix switcher routes all SMPTE and ITU standard serial digital video signals; plus
it supports embedded audio and other ancillary data required for HD-SDI and DVI/ASI broadcast sources. For Digital Cinema high definition video distribution requirements, the Cougar-3 can be configured to switch SMPTE 372M dual-link HD-SDI in configurations up to 16X16. Cougar-3 is perfect for SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI switching applications in digital cinema, telemedicine, O&P, high end presentation rooms, satellite imaging, military command centers, and simulation/visualization environments.
OCELOT ANALOG VIDEO: 8x8 or 16x16
PESA’s Ocelot modular routing switcher family offers a wide range of small matrix routers for virtually any application. Every Ocelot is built using modules with self contained I/O connectors and matrix boards for a specific signal type and matrix size. These modules, in various quantities, are installed in a standard 1RU rack frame that supplies power and control functions to each module. Each Ocelot rack frame provides seven module slots on the rear panel. Six are available for matrix modules and the seventh is always used for a power and control module. The modular approach allows Ocelot routers to be configured in a wide variety of signal format and matrix size combinations.
OCELOT AUDIO: 8x8 and 16x16 for analog audio or AES audio
The Ocelot Analog Audio Routing switcher allows switching of standard audio signals. Each matrix can be configured as mono, stereo, or multi-channel audio. It allows easy hook up for both balanced or unbalanced audio signals using industry standard detachable plugs. The Ocelot AES/EBU Audio Router provides exceptional switching characteristics for either 75 Ohm coaxial or 110 balanced detachable connectors. Up to three 8x8 or one 16x16 AES/EBU module can be installed within 1RU. The Ocelot AES/EBU router is ideal for broadcasters and audio post-production facilities.
HDcctv MATRIX SWITCHERS
PESA introduces their new HDcctv Routing Switcher line, the world’s first HDcctv routing switcher with full compliance to the HDcctv Alliance™ high-definition video interface standard for security and surveillance systems Designed specifically for high-definition video over coax, PESA’s new 16X16 HDcctv Routing Switcher features a compact 1RU enclosure, local or remote network control options and a redundant power supply and control card option.
DRS AUDIO - SERIES C: 64x64 MONO or 32x32 STEREO or AES
Housed in a 1RU frame, the DRS Series C offers several models of audio routing solutions for analog and digital signal formats. Analog frames supporting up to 64X64 mono or 32X32 Stereo are available as well as 32X32 AES-75 and 64X64 AES-110. Based on PESA’s distributed routing technology, the DRS Series C combines high-end audio signal management features to mix and match AES-110, AES-75, Mono Audio, and Stereo Audio. Each frame includes an on-board controller and power supply module to operate with our Cattrax control and management software. Redundant power is optional.
DRS AUDIO – SERIES C: 128x128 MONO or 64x64 STEREO or AES
Housed in a 2RU system, the DRS Series C offers several models of audio routing solutions for analog and digital signal formats. Analog frames supporting up to 128X128 mono or 64X64 Stereo are available as well as 64X64 AES-75 and 128X128 AES-110.
DRS AUDIO – SERIES M: Audio Systems up to 2048x2048 using DXE processor frame
With our award winning Cheetah DRS Series Router, PESA truly raises the bar for distributed routing systems. DRS is a full-featured 24 bit, 96 kHz routing system for audio and time code signals, offering versatility and features limited only by your imagination, in a series of single rack unit frames. A true distributed routing system, DRS uses high-speed multiplexing technology for signal distribution, rather than a crosspoint matrix array. Each 1RU I/O frame provides 128 signal ports and can be located virtually anywhere in your facility. Systems are scalable from 64X64 up to 2048X2048. Most system interconnections are made using common CAT5E cable and standard RJ-45 connectors; and in most configurations, full redundancy of every link in the router system is possible.
DRS AUDIO – SERIES E: Audio Systems up to 7680x7680 using E-DXE processor frame
Designed specifically for large venue environments, the PESA Enterprise Audio Routing System provides a “unified” solution for audio and time code applications. At the heart of each distributed audio system is a 1RU Data Exchange Engine (DXE) chassis that connects up to 24 independent I/O frames which can be stacked to serve as a centralized system; or each I/O frame can be independently located at the source several miles away by using fiber optic cabling interconnects. Each I/O frame supports up to 128 inputs or outputs for a total of 1536 X 1536 with one DXE. By adding additional DXE units, systems can be populated up to 7680 X 7680 using five DXE chassis. The Cheetah Enterprise DRS allows users to integrate AES/EBU, Analog Audio, MADI and Time Code - all within one distributed system.
