The PESA PERC3000™ router control solution is a scalable hardware and software system designed to enhance your medium to large scale video and audio router control needs. Its modular design lets broadcasters and mission critical A/V technicians select just the level of control they need. The PERC3000, PESA’s next generation of enterprise-class control, offers enhanced processing power and speed over PESA’s popular PERC2000 controller. It is specifically designed for large routing installations with multiple high capacity router frames and large numbers of control panels that require maximum computing and processing power.

CONTROL SYSTEMS (PERC 2000)
PESA’s PERC2000 is a high-end System Controller for the PESA family, offering several enhancements, new features and expanded capabilities over the 3500PRO Controller. PERC2000 is an IP-based system with control capability for PESA routers using the PRC serial bus protocol, but also features 10/100 Ethernet connectivity for communication with network control devices. The PERC2000 controller system consists of a plug-in circuit board and controller application software for installation on a host computer running the Microsoft Windows® operating system. PERC2000 supports up to 16 levels of control, 64 matrices, 256 tieline interconnects, 256 salvos and up to 2,400 source and destination names. It provides diagnostics, matrix segmentation, virtual matrix mapping and field-updates via Ethernet. The graphical user interface is highly intuitive, allowing every feature in the system to be accessed quickly and easily

CONTROL SYSTEM (3500 PRO)
PESA’s 3500PRO system controller provides both the hardware and software elements to create a user interface to our line of routing switcher products that incorporate the time proven PRC communication protocol. Through its user-friendly interface application installed on virtually any personal computer running the Microsoft Windows® operating system, the 3500PRO offers an extensive, full featured, control architecture that provides maximum versatility for both signal management and system diagnostics. The 3500PRO controller system consists of a plug-in circuit board and controller application software for installation on a Windows® based PC. 3500PRO supports up to 16 levels of control, 32 matrices, 64 tieline interconnects, 128 salvos and up to 1024 source and destination names. The graphical user interface is highly intuitive, allowing every feature in the system to be accessed quickly and easily.

CONTROL SYSTEM (Small Scale Controller)
PESA’s Small Scale System Controller (SSC) is a stand-alone System Controller for the PESA family of compact routers. It is a control system based on 10/100 Ethernet connectivity for communication with network control devices. The SSC controller system consists of a plug-in circuit board and controller application software for installation on a host computer running the Microsoft Windows® operating system. SSC supports up to 8 levels of control and up to 80 PNET control panels. It provides diagnostics, matrix segmentation, virtual matrix mapping and field-updates via Ethernet. The Cattrax graphical user interface is highly intuitive, allowing every feature in the system to be accessed quickly and easily.

WEB-BASED CONTROL SYSTEMS
Ideal for monitoring, post production, or any networked remote location, Cattrax Web is compatible with the full line of PESA routers and can control matrix sizes from 16x16 to 1024x1024. It operates over Ethernet via TCP/IP and communicates directly with the PESA PERC2000 router control system. Cattrax Web pulls its configuration from the PERC2000 control card inside the routing matrix or an external 1 RU chassis assembly. Once configured, Cattrax Web can be used like any remote control panel linked to the system.

CONTROL PANELS (PNET SERIES)
The PNET series of network enabled remote control panels are designed specifically to operate with the Small Scale System Controller. Each panel is only 2 inches deep and fits in any standard rack system. The panels are connected using standard RJ-45 jacks and include a looping CATx connector for adding additional panels in series. Individual pushbutton switches provide selections for source, destination, level and panel control functions.

CONTROL PANELS (PRC SERIES)
PESA offers a wide variety of remote control panels that afford users easy access to switching functions through the 3500PRO or PERC2000 controllers. Control panels communicate with either system controller over a serial data bus called the PESA Remote Control Panel (RCP) bus. Each controller allows up to four RCP bus branches, and each branch allows multiple remote control panels to be daisy-chained for easy installation. Panels range from a simple push-button configuration to a complete status display control panel that allows multi-level, multi-bus operation. Monitor display panels are available for monitor and remote station labeling. Our port expanders allow the addition of up to 8 branches of the PESA Router Control (PRC) Bus or the serial remote control panel (RCP) bus.

CONTROL PROTOCOL CONVERTERS
PESA's UCI2000 is a versatile controller designed to handle a wide range of protocol conversion applications. It is supplied in a 1 RU single controller type chassis with power supply. The UCI2000 allows PESA routers to be "plug and play" compatible with third-party router and production switcher products from manufacturers such as Sony, Di-tech, Philips/BTS, Grass Valley Group, and others. The UCI2000 incorporates both serial and parallel ports to interface with third-party control systems, including the Sony S-BUS. Three different operating modes are possible: Master, Slave, and Gateway. DIP switches in the UCI2000 are used to select between the different manufacturers' protocols and operating modes.
