Overview
| Great processing deserves an equally versatile system, Fortel 500 system frames and control panels are designed for compact installation in both mobile and fixed applications. It is an extremely flexible system where you can choose a 1RU frame with a local control panel for specifictasks, or the 4RU frame where more |
 | functions are needed or power redundancy is required. Control can be configured as local or remote and deployed over a large facility using standard LAN cables and hardware.
Fortel 500 series of video audio synchronizers and decoders include the famous patented Quadra-CombT decoder technology, plus many differentiating features and selection of cards. Each video synchronizer has both composite analog and SDI inputs and outputs to bridge the gap from audio to digital format. All models of Fortel series are both NTSC and PAL switchable.
Types of Frames
Two different frames are offered for different requirements :
FRM-501 (1RU with up to 4 cards)

Four Fortel AV cards can be loaded into each FRM-501. Only one rack unit space is required for mounting. Network and controlling FRM-501 frame with control panels can be located anywhere on the LAN. An external power redundancy and local remote control panel is optional.
FRM-504 (4RU with up to 18 cards)

Up to 18 Fortel cards can be loaded into the FRM-504. Standard configurations include removable power supply, easy-to-read status display and an optional redundant hot swappable power supply. Multiple FRM504 and control panels can be networked throughout the facilities with access to every frame from any control panel on the LAN.

RCP-502 (Compact Remote Control Panel)

Comes in a single rack unit makes it an ideal panel when there is a limitation in rack space. The tiered menu structure allows access to multiple functions while conserving space. One-touch direct access to video and audio levels is maintained using this panel.
RCP-503 (Express Remote Control Panel)

This two-rack unit controller has an easy-to-read display and intuitive controls for easy operation. Controlling several synchronizers is simplified by using "router-style" keypad access to individual interface cards for adjustment of video and audio levels.
